Upward Bound is a project sponsored by the U.S. Dept of Education to assist first generation, under represented high school youth to prepare for college. The program is a year round program consisting of two components: an academic year phase and a summer phase. In the academic year phase, students attend after school tutoring on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday weekly. Activities on Saturday include Academic Enrichment classes, Quality of Life seminars and field trips.
