Looking back at last May…

Our end-of-year banquet was a fantastic event with over 100 students present to receive certificates for successfully completing their level of study. We were proud to announce that 20 students had completed the US Citizenship class and that six had already applied for citizenship, passed the test and had become United States citizens. Students and teachers, along with family and friends enjoyed an international potluck dinner they had prepared to share with one another. Along with the presentation of certificates, students gathered for a sing-a-long of American heritage songs including “She’ll Be Coming ‘Round the Mountain” and “Home on the Range.” The evening’s events concluded on a high note with students who entertained the crowd with jokes and songs.
